The Northern Nevada Outreach Team (NNOT) is the result of collaborative efforts, which began in 1997
when several community based organizations mobilized in an effort to actively prevent human immunodeficiency
virus (HIV) and sexually transmitted disease (STDs) in Northern Nevada. The Northern Nevada Outreach team
strives for prevention and awareness of HIV and STDs in our community. This is made possible by educational
services, prevention materials, skill building, harm and risk reduction, and opportunities for the community
to test for HIV and STDs in non-traditional venues.

VISIONAn empowered, educated Northern Nevada free of new HIV/AIDS and STD infections.
